Agnes's Story

Mrs. Agnes Fox Mansfield, 86, of Richmond, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
Mrs. Mansfield was born on February 11, 1930, in Estill County, to the late John W and Hannah Chamberlain Fox. She worked for Westinghouse for a short time, but considered her greatest job that of wife and mother. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
On January 21, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jay "Ted" Mansfield, Jr., who survives.
Other than her husband of 62 years, she is survived by: her son, Danny Freeman (Connie); one brother, Jimmy Fox; one sister, Lucille Wagers; two grandchildren, Valerie Jo Freeman and Jason Freeman (Amy); one great-granddaughter, Lainey Jo Drake; as well as many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Mount Pleasant Christian Church, 3085 Lexington Road, Richmond, KY 40475.
