Mrs. Annabell Rogers Richardson, 82, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Richmond Health & Rehab Center - Madison.
She was born in the Kingston community of Madison County on August 7, 1937 to the late Charles Franklin and Rachel Wilson Rogers. Annabell retired from Fayette County Public Schools , and also worked for the American Tree and Wreath Company.
On March 28, 1959, she united in marriage to Cecil Richardson, Sr., and together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage until he passed away on November 27, 2018.
Survivors include: her two sons, Cecil Richardson, Jr., (Sherri), and Charles H. Richardson (Susan); one brother, Bill Rogers; one sister, Ruth Rogers Hawkins; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Richardson, Joshua Richardson, and Charles Thomas "CT" Richardson; and a host of other extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Madison County Memorial Gardens, 210 W. Rice Lane, Richmond, with Rev. Al Carpenter and Rev. Stephen Carpenter officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
