Mrs. Annell Oglesby Bucher, 78, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital - East in Lexington.
Mrs. Bucher, the daughter of the late Orville Oglesby and Geneva Walton Oglesby, was born in Madison County on September 9, 1938. She enjoyed quilting, reading and Facebook, in later years. "Nanny," as she was known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was their number one supporter especially at their ballgames. She had been attending Madison Hills Christian Church.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Martin Bucher for 57 years. He passed away January 27, 2010.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sherry Ann Duerson and husband Jack of Berea; two sons, Steven Martin Bucher of Richmond and Lloyd Keith Bucher and wife Maryleigh of Cookville, Tenn.; her son-in-law, Joe Turner; 12 grandsons, Edward Josef Duerson and wife Cathy, Jakob Twigg Duerson and wife Dana, Joshua Lee Duerson and wife Ashley, Jeremiah Kane Duerson and wife Jessica, Jarrod William Floyd, Jordan Martin Gomez, Hunter Lee Turner, Sean Christian Bucher and wife Elizabeth, Benjamin Wright Bucher and wife Katrina, Andrew Barrett Bucher, Lloyd Cameron Bucher, Caleb Elijah Wills Bucher; 11 great-grandchildren, Abryhauna Wray Duerson, Gabryella Elizabeth Duerson, Joshua Hayden Duerson, Jase Michael Duerson, Mallory Lynn Duerson and Cami Ann Duerson; Madellynn Sofia Duerson, Sutton Addilyn Duerson, Elijah Josef Duerson, Ava Grace Bucher, Nora Joyce Bucher and one great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bucher was also preceded in death by: her daughter, Lois Denise Turner in the year 2013; two sisters, Wanda King and Louise Jones; and her brother, Randall Oglesby.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Frazer officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. www.cpcfh.com
