Betty Cosby Huffman, 67, of Richmond, passed away suddenly early Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at her home.

Born March 17, 1951, in Richmond, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late D. T. and Norma (Hart) Cosby. Betty was a retired Deputy Clerk with the Madison County Clerks Office and served several years as a substitute teacher for the Madison County School System. She had been a member of the Red House Methodist Church for many years and was, most recently, a member of Red House Baptist Church, where she enjoyed playing the piano and organ, for the XYZ Choir. She enjoyed working outdoors in her yard and loved her dog BeBob. Most of all, Betty loved her family.

Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Bobby Huffman; two nephews, David Presnell (Brenda) and Alan Presnell (Dana); two great nephews, Kevin and Kameron Presnell; and three nieces, Kristyn, Peyton and Parker Presnell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Patsy Hall.

Funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2018 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 8 PM Thursday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell.

Pallbearers will be David Presnell, Alan Presnell, Kevin Presnell, Kameron Presnell, Bo King, Bill Noland, Henry Morgan, and Darrell Cosby. Members of the XYZ Choir will serve as honorary pallbearers.
