He was predeceased by his son, Steven Eugene Baldwin, his former wife, Frances Baker Baldwin, along with his 8 brothers and sisters.
Following graduation from Owenton High School, Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1951 1955. After completing his enlistment he enrolled at the University of Kentucky and graduated with a degree in accounting. He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with several regional firms before he, and his wife, Nancy, founded Baldwin & Associates CPAs in Richmond, KY from which he retired.
He was a past president of the Kentucky Society of CPAs, the Kentucky Board of Accountancy, the Madison Count Shrine Club, and the Madison County Country Club, where he was an active member for many years. He served on the Board of Shriners Hospital, Lexington, KY for a number of years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Richmond.
Bobby loved playing golf with friends, watching University of Kentucky basketball, and most of all fishing with his friends, having fished many of the lakes and ponds in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Canada. He was well known among his fishing buddies for dropping his line in the water and catching the first fish. Our family has fond memories of motor home trips to many Kentucky State Parks, Canada, Atlantic coast, Colorado and other places. He also enjoyed cooking. His family and good friends will remember his fried fish and fried shrimp which he often cooked for our get-togethers.
Our family wishes to thank our wonderful caregivers, Linda, Patty, and Tuasha, who provided love and support to Bobby and family during the many months of his illness
