Bonnie's Story

Bonnie Mavis Lynch Perkins, 92, passed away on December 31, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Northpoint Healthcare Lexington. She was the widow of Bro. Clyde Perkins, who passed away in 1998.
Bonnie was born on June 23, 1925, in Owsley County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Nellie Isaacs Lynch. She was a homemaker and a pastor's wife, who greatly loved the Lord and sharing His love with others. She was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Perkins (Patty), of Florida, and David Perkins (Dianna), of Virginia; two daughters, Janet Baker (David), of Berea, and Elizabeth Pitcher (Michael), of Versailles; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Bonnie Perkins will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Bro. Joey Kays officiating. Private burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Baker, Michael Pitcher, Jason Baker, Ben Pitcher, Aaron Isaacs and John Leistner. Honorary pallbearer will be Whitney Thornton, April, Bruce, Erica Perkins, Joshua Perkins, Mariah Perkins, Ashton Isaacs, and Natalie Pitcher.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
