Mrs. Brenda Sue Ward Castillo Wilson, 68, passed away Tuesday evening, January 31, 2017.
She was born on September 27, 1948, in Richmond, the daughter of the late Sterling and Dimple Moberly Ward. She was a retired Administrative Assistant at Eastern Kentucky University, having worked with Athletics, Public Relations, Chemistry and Occupational Therapy.
Survivors include: two daughters, Laura Jeanette Castillo of Richmond and Jessica Louise Wilson of Lexington; a grandson, Sterling Quinn Castillo; one sister, Joan Carolyn Ward Spencer; and family friend, Dr. Joan Reeder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rondal and Raymond Ward.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017, in The Richmond Cemetery with Ray Meeks officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Sterling Quinn Castillo, Larry Miller, Tom Otieno, John McQueen and David Cole.
