Charles Thomas "Charlie" Lutes, 73, of Waco, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his home.
Born April 26, 1944, in Madison County, he was the son of George and Ida Mae Wombles Lutes, both of whom preceded him in death. Charlie was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: four sisters, Edith Dodd of Henderson, Nevada, Viola Dennis of Waco, Edna Schroeder (Tom) of Newport Beach, California, and Juanita Lutes of Henderson, Nevada; a niece, Patty Denny (David) and great niece, Lacey Mae Denny. He was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Ray Lutes.
Funeral service for Charlie will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 30, 2017, at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Jones officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Childers, Jimmy "Roadrunner" Rhodus, Jimmy Cornelison, David Eades, Donald Joe Masters, Donnie Wilson, Kenny Wilson and Wally Norris.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Bush, Tom Schroeder, David Denny, Marcus Eades,  and Patrick Tudor.
