Mrs. Clara Kathryn Elliott Bailey, 95, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday evening, November 23, 2016, at Baptist Health Lexington.
Mrs. Bailey, the daughter of the late Fred Elliott and Nettie Wieland Elliott, was born May 20, 1921, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and yard work. One of her greatest joys was spending time with all of her grandchildren.
On January 23, 1951, Mrs. Bailey united in marriage to Huey Bailey who passed away January 4, 2015, after 64 years of marriage.
Survivors include: three sons, Wayne Allen Bailey and wife Lana of Berea, Larry Steven Bailey of Richmond, and Coy Bryan Bulluck and wife Gail of Augusta, Ga.; her daughter: Carolyn Williams and husband Randall of McKee; a sister, Jean Gorman and husband Cliff; six grandchildren, Derek Bulluck, Marnie Elaine Bowles and husband Gerald, Stephanie Anglin and husband Eddie, Matthew Bailey and wife Ami, Jeremy Bailey and wife Leticia, and Heather Masiaitis and husband Miles; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bailey was also preceded in death by: her brother, Max Fisher, and a sister, Mildred Baker.
Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Lakes officiating. Burial will follow in Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Anglin, Matthew Bailey, Jeremy Bailey, Trent Adams, Zachary Fish and Shyla Fish.
