Clint Alexander Burgess, 25, of Richmond, died after a courageous battle with depression Monday, January, 15, 2018, at home.
Born October 25, 1992, in Lexington, he was the son of Sara Ann Walker Burgess and the late Steve Ray Burgess. Clint was a welder for Mason Manufacturing of Lexington. He was a loving father, son, and brother who enjoyed playing pool with his family and friends, as well as water sports and motorcycle riding.
In addition to his mother, Sara, of Richmond, he is survived by one daughter, Nora LaRae Burgess (Rachel Reed, the mother of Nora and Elijah Moody, the brother of Nora) of Berea; his grandmother, Patsy May Walker of Somerset; three sisters, Laura Burgess of Richmond, Christy Burgess Linville (Danny) of Paris, and Michelle Burgess of Lexington; three nieces, Savannah, Sydney, and Alexandra Burgess and one nephew, Cody Burgess; as well as several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Clint was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Burgess (the late husband of Trish Burgess of Northern, Kentucky).
Visitation for Clint will be after 3:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2018, followed by the funeral service at 7:30 PM Friday, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Minister Griff Ray officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Jordan, Bryce Stamper, A. J. Dunaway, Tyler Scott, Samuel Evans, Wayne Barnes, Jacob Hensley and Austin Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Memorial Education Fund for his daughter, Nora LaRae Burgess, which will be set up at a local financial institution and will be added to our website.
