Mr. Connie "Stan" Kelly, 77, of West Walnut St., passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 Madison Heath and Rehab.
Connie, the son of the late Morris Kelly and the late Bessie "Ma" Wilcox Kelly, was born in Madison County on April 16, 1940. He worked for Okonite Cable Company and attended Grace Chapel Wesleyan Church.
On December 27, 1999, Connie united in marriage to Delores Marlene Simpson Kelly who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Anthony Kelly and wife Krista of Cape Coral, Fla., Michael Wayne Kelly and Terra of Dalton, Ga., and Chris Kelly of Richmond; his daughter, Marsha Lynn Tate of Calhoun, Ga.; three brothers, Wendell "W.L." Kelly, James Darrell Kelly and Danny Dale Kelly and wife Delores; two sisters, Christeen Harris and Patsy Stamper and husband Londus, 12 grandchildren, and three special nieces, Ellen Harvey, Becky Rowland and Betsy Satterfield.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Morris, Jr., Orville, Don, Ed, Ronnie and Bill Kelly, and his sisters, Lucille Duncan, Frances Portwood and Evelene Kelly.
The family has chosen no services.
Connie had requested that a special thank you be made to Rev. Tommy and Mrs. Dorothy Masters and Letha Masters for all of their help.
