Donnie Elwood Lainhart, 77, of Waco, passed away on Friday morning, October 6, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Estill County Kentucky on May 27, 1940 to the late Elmer and Ora Richardson Lainhart. Donnie was a retired welder from the Trane Company and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Bearwallow Holiness Church. Survivors include: his wife of 28 years, Phyllis Bishop Lainhart; one son, Jeff Lainhart (Rebecca); two step-children, Evelyn Rader (Jeff), and George Glyndon Newland Jr. (Jerrielyn); two daughter-in-laws, Karen Lainhart and Melinda Richardson; two brothers, Richard & Teddy Lainhart; two sisters, Sue Eden (Donald) and Judy Parido (Paul); 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by: three sons, Dweayne, Jerry and Steve Lainhart; two brothers, Elmer Clyde and Phillip Lainhart; and one sister, Wanda Lainhart.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., with Bro. Dwight Northern and Bro. Charles Whittamore officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery at Panola. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Wayne Lainhart, Jeff Lee Lainhart, Travis Isaacs, Glen Newland, Anthony Newland, and Chris McKinney. Honorary Pallbearers will be his granddaughters. www.cpcfh.com
