Mrs. Dorothy Masters Collins, 94, of Salvisa, formerly of Richmond, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Madison IN, on February 9, 1923 to the late Jesse and Josephine Perkins Masters. She retired from Westinghouse after 33 years of faithful service. She was member of the Richmond First Church of the Nazarene where she served as the Secretary and Treasurer for Sunday School for over 20 years.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Logan Collins (Josephine) and Sharon Case (Linville); one sister, Jo Bell Masters; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Hawkins and three sisters, Marie Uttinger, Mildred Masters and Mabel Williams.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 Friday, September 15, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Pastor Steve Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Strong, Gary Deaton, Pascal Warmouth, Ray Warmouth, David Fahringer, and Colman Sadler.
