Dorothy Frances Hall, 91, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, in Frankfort.
She was born March 7, 1925, in Somerset, Ky., to the late William Francis and Minnie Ann Brown Smith. A retired factory seamstress, she was a member of the Lancaster Road Church of God.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John W. Hall; a sister, Anna Smith; and a brother, Raymond Smith.
Survivors include: a daughter, Cheryl K. Hall Corum (Lewis) of Lexington; two sons, John W. Hall II (Pam) and Paul Wayne Hall, both of Richmond; three grandchildren, Michelle Hight, Cassie Manci and Angela Hall; and seven great-grandchildren, Lewis, Reagan, Riley, Michael, Mason, Devon and Aiden.
Funeral service for Dorothy Hall will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. David Evans and Kenneth Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Athens Boones Creek Cemetery in Fayette County. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell.
Pallbearers will be Billy Emmitt, Lee Emmitt, Bruce Emmitt, Stanley Rose, Jeremy Manci and Michael Hight. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Kelley and Lewis Corum.
