Eddie Hunter, 57, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at U.K. Hospital in Lexington.
Eddie worked for Madison County Utilities for 34 years. Eddie enjoyed watching old western movies and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by: his mother and stepfather, Virginia Faye and Herman Ballinger; his daughter, Rebecca Marshall; two granddaughters, Destiny Richardson and Katrina Marshall; one niece, Ashley Hunter, and a host of other relatives including one uncle and three aunts.
He was preceded by his father, Lucian Hunter, and his brother Gary Wayne Hunter.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea, Kentucky with Bro. Farris Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Harold Carpenter, Tim Elam, Ronald Hunter, Eddie Gilbert, Wayne Hoskins, and Tim Agee. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hunter, Bobby Masters, Tyler Winkler and Josh Thomas.
