Elsie Lowery Howard, 95, the widow of Laudes Howard, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Mrs. Howard, the daughter of the late Conard and Lizzie Short Lowery, was born in Madison County on July 23, 1923. She was a homemaker and a member of The Fountain Park First Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters: Doris Howard (Nelson), Betty Butler (Earl) and Pamela Moore (Jay); one brother: Ray Lowery (Joy); fourteen grandchildren: Rohn Durbin (Pati), Michelle DeVore (David), Dawn Johanson (Todd), Christopher Short (Christine), April Walden (T.C.), Casey Short (Melissa), Hubert Clay Agee Jr., Darrin Bill Agee, Renee Lisle (Doug), Melissa Waite (John), Rodney Agee (Amber), Nesha Hardin (Michael), Trisha Moore and Jason Moore as well as several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Barbara Agee, a grandson: Mason Agee, two brothers: Lester and Paul Lowery and four sisters: Mary Edith Turpin, Ella Belle Holbert, Dorothy Rhodus and Jewell Broughton.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Fountain Park First Church of God, 5000 Secretariat Drive, Richmond, with Rev. Paul Floyd and Rev. Elder Goble officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday evening at the church.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
