Emaline Emma Mathews Rogers, 87, the wife of Paul Rogers, passed away Saturday evening, October 21, 2017.
Mrs. Rogers, the daughter of the late Lucien and Sarah Satterfield Mathews, was born in Madison County on March 17, 1930. She was a retired employee of Dresser Industries in Berea and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Paul; three daughters: Stella Marie Covey (Gary), Judy Lee Wilburn (Harold) and Cherry Patrina Smith; her son: Randall Pete Smith; twelve grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her dear canine companion Molly.
Her caregivers have been her husband, Paul, daughter Judy Wilburn and granddaughter, Michelle Alexander.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Ricky Smith; and three sisters: Ruby Smith, Toby Smith and Elizabeth Robinson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Randall Smith, Levi Alexander, Luke Alexander, Chuck Alexander, Doug McIntosh and Vernon Bennett.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Covey and Harold Wilburn.
