Enoch's Story

Mr. Enoch Eugene Lawson, 92, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Thomas-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.
He was born on March 27, 1925 in Duffield VA to the late William and Annis Kimberlin Lawson. Mr. Lawson was a machinist and retired from Exide here in Richmond. He also enjoyed woodworking, and farming after his retirement. Mr. Lawson was a veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include his children: Carolyn Bertram, and Kenneth W. Lawson (Brenda); 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Lane Lawson, one daughter, Judy Ann Sparks, one grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Patrick Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday, at the funeral home.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
