James William Cain, 67, of Richmond, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at Baptist Health Richmond.
James, the son of the late James M. Cain and Anna Ingram, was born on September 25, 1950. He was a retired construction superintendent and was attending the Narrow Way Church of God. James enjoyed fishing and watching movies and always loved talking with family and friends. He was also a U.S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include: three daughters, Angela Cole and husband Kevin and Linda Kirby and husband Charles, all of Mt. Vernon, and Tonya Hammond and husband Johnny R. of Sand Gap; and seven grandchildren, Matthew Pruitt, Kinsli Cole, Sophia Cole, Megan Gover and husband William, Anna Hammond, Andrew Hammond and Saul Hammond.
James was also preceded in death by his brother, Malcolm Cain, and two grandchildren, Brittany Pruitt and Johnny Hammond.
Funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Narrow Way Church of God in Jesus' Name, Hwy 421 South, McKee, with Bro. John Gross officiating.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
