Johnny's Story

Johnny Richard McIntosh, 59, loving husband of 34 years to Peggy Cruse McIntosh, departed this life, on August 4, 2017 at Baptist Health Richmond.
Johnny was born on March 7, 1958, in Madison County, the son of the late Darvis Sr. and Rebecca Denny McIntosh. He was the owner and operator of Johnny McIntosh and Sons Sod Company and was a member of the Irvine Street Holiness Church. He loved his family, going to Church and he loved to fish.
Other than his wife, he is survived by: two sons, Johnny Richard McIntosh Jr., (Carma) and Tommy Brandon McIntosh (Stephanie Madden), both of Richmond; three grandchildren, John Walker McIntosh, Kylee Faith McIntosh and Hayden Tommy Brandon McIntosh; one brother, Joe McIntosh; two sisters, Becky Coyle (Larry) and Janet Fritz (John); a sister-in-law, Diane McIntosh and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darvis McIntosh Jr. and Tommy McIntosh.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Fabian Lynch and Bro. Harold Edmonson officiating.Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Roger Thomas, Walter Larson, Eric Jones, Anthony Cruse, Robert Cruse and Steve Brinegar.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Members of The Irvine Street Holiness Church as well as his nieces and nephews.
Johnny, you will be forever missed and loved. Rest in Peace.
