Kyle J. Prewitt, 92, of Cadiz, Kentucky, formerly of Richmond, passed away Wednesday evening, January 11, 2017, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Prewitt was born on December 28, 1924, in Garrard County, the son of the late Jesse and Cora Rodgers Prewitt. He was a retired employee of the Blue Grass Army Depot, and was the widower Nellie Pearl Rollins Prewitt.
Survivors include: one daughter, Ethel Mae Payne Bishop (Billy) of Stamping Ground; one sister, Kathryn Horseman; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Charlotte Fryer and Gloria Jean Smith, and one sister.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are: James Cook, Junior Wright, Phillip Preston, Butch Smith, Paul Powers ad Wesley Woods.
