Margaret's Story

Margaret Arnold Orttenburger, widow of Clark Kellogg "Chuck" Orttenburger, and prominent Richmond business woman for over forty years (The Little House), died Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Oldham.
Survivors include: one daughter, Margaret "Meg" O. Sutherland (Lewis), two grandsons, Charles "Chad" Hall (Stacey), and Lane C. Orttenburger (Ashleigh), three great grandsons, Austin W. Hall, Aiden L. Orttenburger, and Elliott J. Orttenburger, all of Richmond; two nieces, Marilyn Williams (Jimmy Dale) of Richmond and Alice Putman (Pat) of St. Petersburg, Fla.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Marsh C. Orttenburger, and her sister, Mary Moore Robinson.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at St. Hubert's Episcopal Church, 1436 Grimes Mill Road, Lexington. The Rev. Dr. Duane Smith, The Rev. Charles Ellestad, and The Rev. John Cavendish will officiate the service. Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
