Mary's Story

Mary Moberly King, 74, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Baptist Health - Lexington.
She was born March 19, 1942, in Madison County to the late Vaughn and Mary Susie Grant Moberly and was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Roscoe King. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two daughters, Anna L. King and Donna Hayes (Clifford) of Richmond; one son, Everett Wayne King (Gail) of Waco; one sister, Della Rhodus (Donald) of Richmond; six grandchildren, David King, Logan King (Elizabeth), Jonathan King (Joli), Jacob King, Katelyn Hayes and McKenzie Hayes; five great-grandchildren, Ashton, Blake, Camdyn, Darbeigh and Madilee King; and numerous nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two daughters, Mary Elizabeth King and Connie King-La-Rocca; a grandson, Christopher; two sisters, Virgie King and Ruby Ambrose; and two brothers, Russell and Virgil Moberly.
Funeral service for Mary will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017, at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Bro. Greg King officiating.  Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time of 1 p.m. Monday at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
She was loved and will be missed by all, but is rejoicing in Heaven with those gone home before.
