Eva has many living and deceased nieces and nephews, who have always loved her dearly.
Her niece, Beverly Applegate, along with her family, Hairl, Rocky and Erica, had the blessing of being able to assist and enjoy "Aunt Eva" in the later part of life and they want to especially thank her special caregiver and friend, Faye Ewen, for always treating her with kindness and reading her the bible when she became unable to do so. The family would also like to thank all of the special care that was provided to Eva by the staff at Telford Terrace and McCready Manor over the years.
Her granddaughter Amber stated it correctly when she said, "Another angel got her wings when Nana passed." She was loved by many and showed kindness to all. "Aunt Eva" was known for her delicious Thanksgiving meals which she prepared for the whole family for over 50 years. She was known in her church, First Christian Church on Main, for always lending a helping hand and was their bookkeeper for many years, while also volunteering at the Salvation Army.
