Nathan William Deatherage

Nathan William Deatherage Nathan William Deatherage, 79, of Waco, widower of Margaret Jean Bowlin Deatherage, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018.
He was born in Richmond, Ky. on June 7, 1939, the son of the late John William and Only Lorraine Smith Deatherage. Nathan was a retired mechanic from Paul Miller Ford who loved to work and 'tinker' on automobiles. He loved outdoors, enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandchildren. He was an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider and savored riding with friends. He was a member of the Harris Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Regina Hope Pennington (David), of Winston-Salem, NC; a sister, Tonda Mae Deatherage, of Richmond; two grandsons, Alexander William Pennington and Zachary Michael Pennington; two nieces, Michelle Jones (Steve Tipton) and Kristy Jones; a great-nephew, Hunter Jones, a great-niece, Kayla Gibson and many friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to his sister, Tonda Deatherage, for the loving care provided during his illness.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3 - 8 PM Sunday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Cocanougher, Garrison Collins, Terry Voland, B. J. Marshall, Steve Tipton, Hunter Jones, Alex Pennington and Zach Pennington.
Expressions of Sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society, 1500 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502.
