Neva Catherine Lawson Leedy, 80, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, Kentucky.
Neva was born on August 15, 1937 in Richmond, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Stanley and Georgia Simpson Lawson, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Southland Christian Church. She loved her family and church.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymond G. Leedy, of Lexington; two sons, Ronald Leedy (Pamela), of Winchester, and Raymond G. Leedy, Jr. (Mari), of Crossville, TN; two daughters, Cathy Borntraeger (Doug) and Lisa Hurst (Ron), both of Lexington; five grandchildren, Chris Borntraeger, Jennifer Leedy Harrell (Chris), Sarah Pank (Matthew), Grant Leedy (Lauren), and Elyse Hurst; four great-grandchildren, Elliot Harrell, Jolie Harrell, Cooper Pank, and Carver Pank; and a sister, Stanley Marie Shawn (Greg), of Lawton, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Allen Borntraeger.
Funeral services for Mrs. Leedy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
