Patsy's Story

Mrs. Patsy Lou McCollum Jones, 78, widow of Mr. Harry Edward Jones (d 2016), passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Berea Health & Rehab center.
Born in Madison County on November 11, 1938 to the late Millard and China Click McCollum, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Richmond.
She is survived by: her son, Edward David Jones (Penny) as well as a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Jones (d. 1958) and three sisters, Mildred Louise Wells, Margaret Gladys Campbell and Lillian Christine McCollum.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, September, 11, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Fort and Dr. Virgil Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: David Smith, Mark Smith, Chad Cobb, Scott Cobb, Allen Grant, Jr., and Timothy Grant.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Wells, Kenneth Prather and Gary Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Jones are suggested to: The Compassionate Care Center, The National Kidney Foundation, Oneida Baptist Institute or Sunrise Children's Services
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
