Paul's Story

Paul Elva Presley, widower of Helen Harrell Presley, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.

Paul was born on March 17, 1948 in Beaver, OH to the late Henry and Lovell Hankins Presley, he was a printing press operator for 41 years, with Piney Bowes in Miamisburg, OH. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Navy and was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by one son Paul Eual (Bridget) Presley of Richmond, KY; one daughter Rhona Dawn (Paul) Chapman of Hudson, FL; two sisters Mary Ann (Doug) Foredyce of West Carrolton, OH and Allene Anderson of Dayton, OH. Three grandchildren James Connor Presley, Emma Grace Presley and Sierra-Loren Chapman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers James, Sherman Leroy, William, Wayne, John Buford and Harold Elgin, as well as a sister Alma Louise Farmer.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Oldham Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Leonard Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral home.
