Ronda Holston Allen


Mrs. Ronda Jean Holston Allen, 63, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
Mrs. Allen, the daughter of Ronald "Pete" Holston and Wanda Berg Holston, was born August 14, 1955 in South Charleston, West Virginia. She was an expert seamstress and accomplished artist. Her love for gardening was evident by her many roses that she grew every year at her home. She was also a devoted Army wife to her husband and devoted mother to their children.
On November 17, 1973, Ronda was united in marriage to Johnnie Allen who survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Derek Allen of Richmond and Philip (& Brittany) Allen of Lexington; her daughter: Lyndsey Fryman of Lexington; two grandchildren: Lucas Fryman and Seth Fryman; her brother: Ronald K. (& Tammy) Holston and her sister: Rebecca (& Barry) Foster.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Monday, June 3, 2019, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. A Committal Service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen's family will serve as her pallbearers.
