Mrs. Ruth Coffey Golden, 84, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Kenwood Health & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Golden, the daughter of the late David Coffey and Kitty Marshall Coffey, was born in Madison County on July 6, 1932. She retired from C & H Rauch Jewelers having worked in payroll. She went on to work for EKU as a dorm supervisor and, most recently, Madison County School Systems as a bus monitor. Mrs. Golden was a member of Union City Christian Church.
Survivors include: two sons, William Golden and Deborah, and Kenneth Golden and Donna, all of Richmond; six grandchildren, Krisha Osbornes and John, Elizabeth Golden, David Golden and Leann, Rodney Newman, Stephanie Jackson and Natasha Workman.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
