Silas "Si" Moore Garrett, 81, husband of the late Etta Elizabeth Lamb Garrett, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, in Richmond, Kentucky.
Born on November 7, 1935 in Madison County, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Emma Howard Garrett. He was a retired Truck Driver and also worked at Central Kentucky Processing.  Silas was a member of the White Hall Holiness Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Silas Dewayne Garrett (Teresa) of Richmond, and Eric Jayson Garrett (Julie) of Florence; three daughters, Brenda Carol Ramey of Richmond, Donna Elaine Ballinger (Gerald) of Carrollton, Ky., Cynthia Lenetta Cochran (Terry) of Russell Springs, Ky.; two brothers, Boyd (Minnie) and Dale Garrett; four sisters, Lenora Evans (Elvie), Darlene Sergeant (Don), Glendene Baker (Lloyd) and Margaret Hall (Lum); ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney and Paul Garrett.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Elvie Evans and Bro. Gary Northern officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jay, Justin & Adam Ramey, Josh Jones, Nicholas "Nick" Garrett, Cameron Garrett, Kendal Garrett and Clay Hooper.
