Mr. Thomas James Tom Coyle Jr., 87, of Dreyfus, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Veterans Hospital-Leestown Road in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tom was born in Madison County, on September 8, 1930, the son of the late Thomas James Judge and Hazel Alexander Coyle. He was a retired employee of Westinghouse, was a farmer, and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip D. Coyle (Lois), and Carlos B. Coyle (Jan); one sister: Charlotte Coyle Czchion; a dear friend: Hazel Wehrle; two nieces: Carla Riddell (Larry) and Lisa Shelton (Wes); one nephew: Troy Owens; three grandchildren: Shaun Coyle (Rebecca), Brian Reeder (Shanna) and Traci McIntosh (Scott), six great-grandchildren; his beloved cats; Tom and Missy, as well as a several other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Carlos Wayne Coyle and a sister: Wilma Owens.
Private services will be held at Madison County Memorial Gardens.
