Mr. Tony B. James, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Richmond, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro, SC.
Mr. James, the son of the late John James and Dovie Baker James, was born in Madison County on September 28, 1925. He was the Owner and Operator of Tony James Volkswagen Service in Richmond. He had been a member of the Richmond Elks Club and enjoyed UK basketball and football.
He is survived by his son: Michael James of Albemarle, NC; his daughter: Donna DePine of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. James was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Elliott James; his son: Steve James and all of his brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wes James, Ryan James, Dale Lakes and Royce Rogers.
