Vickie Sue Zeigler, 53, of Richmond, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017, at her home.
She was born on October 23, 1963, in Lakeland, Fla., to Jane Zeigler, and the late Miley E. Zeigler. She worked for various restaurants until many health issues caused her to be disabled. She loved spending time in the sunshine, and playing movies and music. She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include: her mother, Jane Zeigler (Bill Milton); her pet dog, Buster, who she loved like a child; one sister, Diane Zeigler; three aunts, Darlene May, Kathleen Dixon and Carolyn Snider; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by: her brother, Dewayne Cecil Parke, and two sisters, Teresa Farthing Lewis and Tincy Zeigler.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Guiley officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Gannett Portwood, Ray Dixon, Terry Portwood, Matt Farthing and Gary Wayne Cowan.
