Wilma  Ratliff


Wilma L. Ratliff, 81, of Richmond, the widow of Steve Ratliff, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Compassionate Care Center.
Wilma was born August 1, 1938 in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Madison and Mable Barnes Hall, she was a homemaker and a steel worker, she was a member Tates Creek Baptist Church, liked bird watching, crocheting, watching the Kentucky Derby, and her favorite dog Buttons.
She is survived by: three sons, Anthony Ratliff, Richard (Tonya) Ratliff, and Robert (Michelle) Ratliff; two daughters, Shirley (Curment) Carpenter and Yulanda (Roy) Switzer, all of Richmond; two brothers, Gary (Mary) Hall of Lexington, KY and Elvis "Tinker" Whalen of Richmond, KY; numerous grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Margaret Ratliff; grandson, Steven Ratliff; and two brothers, Douglas Hall and Ford Hall.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Wayne "Butch" Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Adam Ratliff, Joseph Ratliff, Dustin Ratliff, Pallas Ratliff, Landon Switzer and Braden Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Stevens, Billy Keith Stevens, Danny Northern, Tim Brandenburg, Keith Garrett and Marsha Hamilton.
