Ada's Story

Mrs. Ada White Reams, 92, of Richmond, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at Madison Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Reams, the daughter of the late Harrison White and Miriam Bowman White, was born in Estill County on January 1, 1925. She had worked for Kenwood and Madison Health and Rehabilitation. She enjoyed cooking, laughing and was a known as a hard worker. She was of the Christian faith.
She united in marriage to Addison Brewer and later to Roland Reynolds Reams, Jr., which both have preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Harold Brewer and wife Dawn of Middletown, Ohio, Wallace Reams of Richmond, John Robert Stumph of Rupert, Idaho, and Paul F. Reams and wife Becky of Richmond; three daughters, Brenda Brewer of Richmond, Ann Wagner and husband Bob of Trenton, Ohio, and Barbara Johnson of Evansville, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Reams was also preceded in death by: two sons, Harry Brewer and William Reams; her brother, Elrey White; and three sisters, Emma White, Clorey Estes and Lilly Flynn.       
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Marshall and Bro. Marvin Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Reams, Paul Reams, Wallace Reams, Jr., Paul Reams, Jr., Allen Stanley and Michael Wagner. www.cpcfh.com
