Christian's Story

James Christian Lee Anderson, 19, of Paint Lick, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Christian enjoyed working on the farm, diesel trucks and riding dirt bikes and hunting. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle.
Survivors include: his parents, Gerald and Tracci Lear Metcalfe; his brother, Kraig Anderson (Hannah); a niece, Avery Anderson; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Anderson; paternal grandmother, Ruth Metcalfe; maternal great-grandmother, Anna Frances Lear; his longtime girlfriend, Halee Smolinsky; his pit bulldog, Milo; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by: his natural father, James Matthew Anderson; maternal grandparents, Elmer Lee and Holly Sue Lear; paternal grandfather, Gerald Metcalfe; paternal grandmother, Jessie Lynn Lakes; a cousin and best friend, Hayes Rogers.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 762 Kirksville Rd., Richmond, KY with Bro. Rickey Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Manse Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Kraig Anderson, Lee Collins, Brett Bryant, Christopher Amburgey, Presley Rogers and Dalton Jackson.
