Mr. David Alan "Dave" Donaldson, 63, of Richmond, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Mr. Donaldson, the son of the late H. Neal Donaldson and Doadie Turner Donaldson, was born in Fayette County on March 24, 1953. He graduated from Model Laboratory High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and also held a Master's Degree in Bank Finance. He enjoyed being a tennis coach at Model, Madison Central and Arlington. Many of his friends will remember the years he served at the State Bank and Trust Company in Richmond. Most recently, he was employed by U.K. Federal Credit Union and was the Owner of Win-Win Consulting Services. His greatest joy in life was his family.
On May 17, 1975, Mr. Donaldson united in marriage to Kathleen "Kathy" Butler Donaldson who survives.
He is also survived by: his son, Steven Donaldson of Washington, D.C.; his daughter, Ann Talley and her husband Brett of Montgomery, Ala.; and his brother, Neal Donaldson and his wife Marilyn.
Memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
