Edythe Ann (Blair) Taylor, 79, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on October 28, 2016. Edythe was born on June 29, 1937, in Danville, Illinois, to Vincent and Marguerite (Murphy) Blair.
Edythe (Edy) is survived by: her husband of nearly 60 years, Zachary L. Taylor of Westville, Illinois; their children, Maureen (Frank) Cattani of Ladd, Illinois, Kelly (Charles) Bland of Bethany, Illinois, Greg Taylor of Clearwater, Florida, Karl (Charina) Thorndyke of Chicago, Illinois, and Tracy (Tom) Steier of Parrish, Florida. In addition to her children, she is survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters BJ Baker of Clearwater, Florida, and Mary (Floyd) Darling of Homosassa Florida. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 4, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church on S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Fla. Memorials may be directed to the Empath Hospice or the Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
