Evelyn Wilson Powell, 87, of Red Lick, passed away early Thursday morning, November 25, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Franklin, Ohio, to Woodson and Della Hobbs Wilson, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was the widow of Lawrence Powell and a member of Red Lick Holiness Church. She was a homemaker and had worked for the H.K. Porter Company until its closing.
Survivors include: a daughter, Norma Faye Parsons (Dale); a son, William Howard Powell (Barbara); and a grandson, Anthony Powell, all of Madison County. She also leaves two aunts, Cynthia Isaacs, Myrtle Satterfield. and an uncle, Earl Wilson, all of Ohio.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elerena Wilson.
Funeral service for Evelyn will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, with Bro. Charley Wilson and Bro. Ermon Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
