Guy Edward Doutaz, 61, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on July 20, 1955, in Falmouth, Ky., to Charles Lee Doutaz and the late Betty Mayfield Doutaz. He graduated from Pendleton County High School where he played basketball, and went on to earn his degree at Eastern Kentucky University. He was a Civil Engineer for Cloud Concrete Products in Lexington, and was a member of the Madison Hills Christian Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Sandy Lynn Doutaz; his father and step-mother, Charles Lee and Brenda Courtney Doutaz; his daughters, Traci Leanne Doutaz and Courtney Leigh Allen; one sister, Lynn Orr (Rick); as well as numerous other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. (noon) Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Dave Triplett, Rick Lynch, Keith Stevens, Rick Orr, Josh Buckler, and Brian Adams.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Lamar Doutaz.
