MSgt Harold K. Combs, retired, passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, Monday, December 5, 2016, at his home in Clinton, Utah.
Harold was born January 3, 1959, in Biloxi, Mississippi, son of the late Harold K. Combs, Sr. And Joyce Rivell Combs Nelson. Harold was an Air Force brat but he and his parents called Kentucky home.
Harold was a veteran of Desert Storm/Shield and retired from the Air Force in 1998. He spent the last 28 years working at Hill Air Force Base as a serviceman and civilian.
Harold loved the outdoors and had a deep passion for fly fishing. Harold also loved watching sports and spending time with friends and family. He was a pet lover and leaves behind his beloved Yeshi and Daisey.
Harold is survived by: his wife, Kathy; mother, Joyce Nelson; his son, Andrew J. Combs (Allison); step-daughter, Amy Ellis; brother, Steven Combs (Nikki); 11 grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, Harold K. Combs, Sr.; son, Justin L. Combs; and infant daughter, Kristie L. Combs.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. A viewing will be held Friday, December 9, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services.
There will be services in Berea on Wednesday, December 14, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jack Hall officiating at Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the funeral home.
