Hazel Renfro, 91, of Stanford, formerly of Richmond, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.
Ms. Renfro, the daughter of the late Luther and Minnie Lowery Renfro, was born in Richmond on January 30, 1926. She was a homemaker that loved gardening, cooking, quilting and caring for her beloved cats and dogs.
Survivors include her loving companion: Bill Hayes; one brother: Tony Renfro as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Shirley Renfro (Louise), Cecil Renfro (Phyllis) and Denmon Renfro (Christine) and five sisters: Gracie Rawlins (Jim), Esther Renfro, Ada Foster (Burgin), Dorothy Matthews (Harold) and Margie Kersey.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Jim Rawlins, Ronald Renfro, Greg Renfro, Jeff Westin, William Kersey and Stanton Hayes.
