James W. Noland, 91, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, at Signature of Hartford.
He was born in Union City to Travis and Mary Noland. He was a Civil Service Electrical Inspector at Ft. Knox and was a Korean and WWII Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Noland, and mother, Mary L. Parks.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Mildred Mae Noland of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Kim Noland of Elizabethtown, and Kathy Bruno of Holly Springs, N.C.; two sisters, Nancy Gross and Jo Day, both of Richmond; grandson, Travis Bruno, and granddaughter, Rachel Bruno.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, 1 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Ky., with Dr. Bill Langley officiating. Burial will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be Thursday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown.
