Jonathan David Gibson, 33, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday morning, December 13, 2016, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.
He was born, January 7, 1983, in Hyden, Kentucky to Virgil David and Martha Sue Holland Gibson. John was a sales manager for Toyota South of Richmond. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish, hike, camp and enjoyed repelling and most anything outdoors.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include: his loving wife, Heather Nicole Bullock Gibson; one son, Jonathan Parker Gibson, and one daughter, Kali Brooke Gibson; two brothers, Jamie Gibson (Tabitha) and Gordon Horn (Misty); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ronald Lunsford and Cheri Miller Lunsford, also Michael and Gail Bullock; grandparents, Ruth Farler and Imogene Wilson (Charles); sister-in-law, Erica Bullock and husband, Michael, and two brothers-in-law, Dustin Bullock and wife, Randon, and Michael Lunsford.
He also leaves eight nieces and nephews, Faith, Hope, Casen, Laekyn, Aleya, Nathan, Ryder and Dallas; special friends, Chris Rose, Mike Ayers, Casey Miller and Shirley Lamb; and a host of aunts and uncles and special friends and employees of Toyota South and Greens Toyota.
The funeral service for Jonathan, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016, at Crestview Holy Sanctuary, with Virgil Gibson, Achee Eades, and Larry Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at Crestview Holy Sanctuary on Thursday, from 5-10 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Parker Gibson, Jamie Gibson, Gordon Horn, Chris Rose, Dustin Bullock, Michael Blanton, Casey Miller, Donnie Miller, and Eddie Asher.
