M. David's Story
M. David Galloway, 59, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was born on October 31, 1957, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to L. Hoover and the late Eula Rhea Fannon Galloway. He was a Registered Medical Assistant with Baptist Health System - Winchester. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching and hiking. He was a member of the non-denominational Christian Church.
He leaves: his wife, Lisa Ann Bentley Galloway; two sons, Zachary David Galloway of Richmond, and Derek Blake Galloway of Winchester; his father, L. Hoover Galloway (Geraldine); three sisters, Jane Hughes (Tony) and Diane Moore, both of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Anna Browning (Myron) of Lebanon, Tennessee; mother and father-in-law, John Philip and Linda DePriest Bentley; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Boonesboro Cemetery in Winchester. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
