Minnie Christine Warmouth, 94, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Baptist Health after a long illness. She was a farmer and a homemaker.
She was born in Garrard County on July 30, 1922, the daughter of the late William and Bessie Locker Naylor, and was a member of the Gilead Baptist Church.
Christine loved working in tobacco and raising cattle and kids. In the years before her illness, she was an honest and hard working mother who raised her children with these traits.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clayton Warmouth; a daughter, Edith Mae Durham; sisters, Elsie and Helen Gilliam; brother, William Naylor; and niece, Orvetta Munson.
Survivors include: a daughter, Linda Howard (Rickey) of Richmond; three grandchildren, Debbie Brown (Don) of Peachtree, Ga., Jim Newby and Marty Broaddus (Amber), both of Richmond; special nephews, Lewis Simpson (Mary) of Arizona, Delbert (Jean) Gilliam and Mason Gilliam, all of Kirksville; special friends, B.J. Newton and Flora, Patricia May, Alco Ward, and Linda Foster.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. David Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Danny Rutherford, Rickey Cheeks, Tommy Simpson, Bruce Whitaker, Bryan Whitaker and David Hendren.
Honorable Pallbearers will be Mondell Davis, Connie Agee, David Davis, Eleanor Land, David Eades and Cheryl Isaacs.
