Pauline Hylton Pigg, 89, of Pine Street, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Pauline was born in Madison County to the late Clark and Julia Blair Hylton. She was a homemaker and member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Curtis Pigg, and eight siblings and their spouses, Clifford (Laura) Hylton, Elihu (Marjorie) Hylton, Cecil (Betty) Hylton, Hiram J. (Lorraine) Hylton, Carlos Hylton, Dixie (Brocade) Holt, Myrtle (Ike) Mason and Gertrude (Ed) Gadd.
She is survived by: her children, Jerrold (Frances) Pigg and Dianna (Jason) Burnell; grandchildren, Jeff (Lori) Pigg, Jennifer (Shawn) Huskey, Troy (Cindy) Burnell, Trina (David) Huston and Amy (Corey Lilly) Burnell; great-grandchildren Kaleigh Pigg, Shawna Huskey, Trinity Huskey, Faith Huskey, Chase Huston, Abbie Huston, J.C. Bingham, Julia Bingham, and Ashley and Lauren Burnell; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Deannie Catron.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hisle officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Pigg, Jennifer Huskey, Troy Burnell, Trina Huston, Amy Burnell and David Huston. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice.
