Wanda Hacker, 84, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2016.
Mrs. Hacker, the daughter of the late Oscar and Catherine Philpot Hacker, was born in Clay County, Ky., on March 21, 1932. She was a retired sales clerk for Rite-Aid Drugs and was a former sales associate for Dawahares in Lexington. She was a member of The First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Belinda L. Rice; one grandson, Shon White (Brigitte); one great-grandchild, Victoria White; one great-great-grandchild, Julia Hart; a sister-in-law, Shirley Hacker, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her sister, Patricia Johnson; a brother, Warden P. Hacker; and infant brother, Dewey Hacker.
A service to remember the life of Wanda Hacker will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Fort officiating. The burial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Richmond Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
