Mary Edna Meadows
May Edna Neal Meadows, a devout Christian, a mother, a grandmother, too, this is the legacy we have from you. You taught us to love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a Mother, but as a Grandmother. For all of us you gave your best, now the time has come for you to rest. So, go in peace, you've earned your sleep. Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
Mary was born December 11, 1948 in Newcomb, Tenn., to George, Sr. and Clora L. Creekmore Neal. She was sister to eight brothers, Theadore Lay, Bob Ross, Oscar, Leamon, George, Jr., Luther, James and Raymond. She had four sisters, Sadie, Essie, Gladys and Nola May; many special nieces and nephews on Neal/Meadows both.
Ms. Mary was the proud mother of one daughter and her husband, Tracy T. McClellan (Mike); five grandchildren and two great-grandsons that were her world, Kia, Ashley, Ryne, Destany, and Nina; Des'Mond Sage and Kennell, Jr.
Ms. Mary was a member of Red House Baptist Church, Richmond, Ky. She believed that God created this world and gave his only Son so that we might be saved. She treated everyone with unconditional love and gave forgiveness to all. She left a legacy of having strength above your suffering.
